At any one time, Peek is working on over 200 live installation contracts in the Urban environment throughout the UK. Usually working alongside Principal Contractors, Peek provides the specialist traffic knowledge and electrical expertise for the installation and commissioning of traffic control equipment.
We pride ourselves on repeat business with new orders regularly being awarded as a result of the quality of our past performance. Achieving success against tight contractual programs has been the key factor in the success of our Urban business. Peek has the relevant experience necessary to assist customers through these projects with minimal disruption to road users and pedestrians. Peek has also completed full turnkey packages from design through to final commissioning and validation, sometimes including the project management of civils works as well. All relevant staff have been accredited through the Highways Electrical Academy (HEA) Sector 8 Competency Scheme. The scheme went live on 1 October 2005 with the majority of personnel being accredited through grandfather rights as a result of their previous extensive experience, with the remainder going through the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) route. Our UK wide network of Regional Offices provide excellent geographic coverage to service our extensive customer base. |
